The incident took place in the Nhilla Union of Teknaf upazila around 5:30am on Monday. As the drug traders managed to escape, police found the bullet-riddled body of Shamsul, who died on his way to the Teknaf hospital, he added. Three law enforcement members- Teknaf police station’s Sub-Inspector (SI) Russell, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Foyez and Alamgir Hossain were also injured in the incident. A case has been filed with the Teknaf police station regarding this case under related law.”
