Suu Kyi starts visit to the UK and USMyanmar ElevenAsia News NetworkA delegation led by Suu Kyi, comprising Deputy Foreign Minister Kyaw Tin, has left Myanmar for the UK and US, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Suu Kyi will visit the UK first and meet Prime Minister Theresa May before heading to the US. Suu Kyi will stay in the United States for some two weeks and meet President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and members of the US Congress. She will attend the UN General Assembly in New York from September 20 to 26 and meet UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
