John Swinney was seen "swaggering" about the streets on Munich on Friday cashing in on the excitement ahead of Scotland's first overseas tournament match in 26 years. And Scottish Daily Express readers were not impressed with Swinney's visit, which took place in the middle of the General Election campaign. John Swinney has every right to go to Germany to watch Scotland play football if he wants to but why should we have to pick up the tab? They do, of course, have every right to protest, hoping to advance their aims in the eyes of a world-wide audience. One half, with megaphones was shouting "Tories, Tories, Tories..." the other half was replying..." scum, scum, scum".
