Heavy rain is predicted to hit Swindon between 5pm and 10pm on Monday, December 4, while lighter rainfall is expected to continue until late Tuesday morning. This comes after a yellow weather warning for rain was issued for Wiltshire on Monday. Two flood alerts remain in place for Swindon and the surrounding areas as a result of the continued downpours, while a further six have been issued around Wiltshire. Flood alerts have also been issued for the River Biss catchment between Trowbridge and Westbury and the Mid Bristol Avon area from Trowbridge to Melksham.
