Early on Sunday 25 March 2018 – at 2am to be precise – Swiss clocks move forward one hour. This means you will miss one hour of sleep and it will be darker when you get up. Much of the rest of Europe will adjust its clocks at the same time. Sleeping-in will not return until Sunday 28 October 2018, when at 2am clocks will shift back one hour. Based in Neuchâtel, METAS has several atomic clocks including one which is accurate to within one second every 30 million years.
