Police say they recieved a call around 6:30 a.m. on Monday reporting a suspicious package inside the station. All TTC vehicles are bypassing Broadview station while police investigate a suspicious package that was reported Monday morning. The Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear team of officers trained in forensic identification is at the station to inspect the situation, police said. Trains, streetcars and buses are still bypassing Broadview station, however, and foot and vehicle traffic to the area has been cut off. Jenifferjit Sidhu confirmed that the area has been closed off to the public while the investigation is underway, and urged people to avoid the area if possible.
