A TV news anchor in India learned that her husband had been killed in a horrific car crash this weekend as she reported on the incident live on air. Supreet Kaur, 28, was on camera for IBC24 in Chhattisgarh state on Saturday when a reporter called in details of a crash that had killed three people. However, Kaur realized that her husband, Harshad Kawade, could have been in the vehicle based on what the reporter said about the car and location of the crash, The Hindustan Times reported. When the camera returned to her, she appeared to hesitate for a split second before continuing. “For a moment her voice trembled, but she collected herself and carried on reading the news” for another 10 minutes, IBC24 editor-in-chief Ravikant Mittal said Sunday, The Associated Press reported.
