It is no secret that the coronavirus crisis has crushed the restaurant business. Earnings from one of its largest suppliers should dash hopes for a quick recovery. Food-service giant Sysco reported sales of $13.7 billion in its third quarter, which ended on March 28. That is down 6.5% from a year earlier and the biggest quarterly decline since 2009.
