I’m sure the Gen Zees of this world would describe this rice-in-a-blue-moon saga as a tale from some living ancestors. How could officers of political parties continue to exchange political jabs and blows as if they were unaware of the severity of the killings in the land? How does one explain that the closer to the election period in our land, the higher the level of killings in the country? It is a known fact that none of the major political parties actually respect internal democracy, let alone practise it. There was a time in one of the communities in Plateau State where there was an attack by suspected herdsmen.
