Share:ISLAMABAD - Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Middle East and Interfaith Harmony Hafiz Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi on Wednesday said that teachers, religious leaders including khateebs should play their much needed role for promoting religious harmony, tolerance and coexistence in the society. Addressing the teachers of Paigham-e-Pakistan Training Programme, he said that it is necessary to promote religious harmony in country for giving future generations a safe and prosperous Pakistan. He stressed the need to enforce the Quran-o-Sunnah and Islamic Sharia at home of every Muslim. He said that Islam disseminated the message of tolerance, moderation and was the protector of the rights of minorities.
