"Final Fantasy has always been one of the primary franchise pillars on PlayStation consoles,” explains third-party boss Christian Svensson. Final Fantasy 16 is also a PS5 exclusive at the time of writing, although a PC port is happening sooner or later. But this move to secure the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy represents an even bigger push in the direction of third-party support.
