GEORGE TOWN: The Penang Tourism Organisation (PTO) will continue to recognise tourist spots in the state despite not getting support from the DAP-led state government. Where every tourist spots will be displayed with certain ratings on safety, price offered and other criterias. With this, Tan again stressed that the accreditation would be done at all tourist spots, including hotels and restaurants in the state. When contacted, Law told the New Straits Times that the Penang government has no powers to stop PTO from conducting the accreditation. "We will inform all government tourist spots not to entertain their accreditation because they have no power to do so."
