After exchanging Eid greetings with guests at the State Guest House Jamuna, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has gone to pay his respects to his parents, former president Ziaur Rahman and former prime minister Khaleda Zia. He was accompanied by his wife Zubaida Rahman, daughter Zaima Rahman, sister-in-law Syeda Shamila Rahman, and his two nieces Zahia Rahman and Zafia Rahman. The family read Surah Fateha in front of the graves before praying. Tarique, also the chairman of the BNP, then laid a wreath on the graves on behalf of the party. Additional Press Secretary Atiqur Rahman Ruman said, “Following the prayers, the prime minister and his family returned to his Gulshan home.”
