Ray Hall, a retired lieutenant colonel, will be missed by many, especially his friends in the local branch of the Royal British Legion, where he served as president for many years. It added: “Ray gave many years of devoted service as ceremonial officer and president of the Taunton branch of the Royal British Legion. “Our thoughts and prayers are with Ray’s family, friends and colleagues at this very sad time.”
