A taxi driver is fighting for his life in hospital after he was stabbed during a confrontation with a passenger he had ferried to Eastleigh, Nairobi. Police said the driver had picked up a passenger from South C and driven him to Eastleigh. According to police, the passenger allegedly contacted another individual who brought a knife, which was then used to stab the driver. The driver sustained multiple stab wounds to the back and collapsed at the scene as the assailant fled. In a separate incident, police are investigating the killing of a man who was allegedly attacked by a mob in the Riruta area of Nairobi after being accused of theft.
