The hosts won the first ODI by eight wickets before Pakistan levelled the series with a 128-run victory in the second match via the DLS method. His knock kept Pakistan in the contest until Taskin Ahmed removed him to finish with impressive figures of 4-49 in 10 overs. He became the third batter dismissed when left-arm spinner Abrar Ahmed removed him. Haris Rauf was the standout bowler for Pakistan with 3-52 while Shaheen Afridi and Abrar Ahmed took one wicket apiece.
