more-inPost-graduate teachers have planned to boycott the evaluation of answer sheets if they are not called for talks on their seven-point set of demands. The teachers, who belong to the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Post Graduate Teachers Association, want the government to discuss their prime demand — pay parity with Central government teachers. Around 24,000 teachers will be deployed for evaluation. Evaluation centresThe association members say in some districts, teachers are assigned to evaluation centres around 40-60 km from their residences. It wants the Directorate of Examinations to assign centres that are 15-20 km from a teacher’s residence.
