Lilian Grace Borden was finally placed in remission this week, five months after being born with an 'ominous spot on her brain stem', last September. She was filmed resting in her dad's arms as mum Leann Borden placed the bell cord in her tiny fist and shook it in front of overwhelmed staff. Leann from Reno in Nevada, then began to cry as cameras flashed to catch the moment baby Lilian was finally cancer free. Speaking to Good Morning America, mum Leann said: "She was not distressed at birth. Just under a month after the baby was born, Lily began chemotherapy to target the tumor and was later placed in remission.
