It was only when one of the children told their parents about his behaviour that police were informed, Exeter Crown Court was told. "Over the course of several weeks in 2019 Jayden McCarthy sexually assaulted nine children. He told police he had never touched the children sexually and derived no sexual pleasure from abusing children. The prosecution allege the footage reveals 13 incidents when Mr McCarthy is caught sexually assaulting children. Mr McCarthy is also charged with two unrelated rapes of a child between 2014 and 2015.
