Representational photoLocals blocked the highway for around an hour in protestA teenage boy has been killed in a road crash as a bus ran over him on Dhaka-Dinajpur Highway at Biral upazila in Dinajpur. One of the witnesses, Firoz Hossain, said a Rahbar Paribahan bus ran over Ananda while he was heading towards Dinajpur town riding a bicycle around 10am on Tuesday. Locals blocked the highway for around an hour protesting the accident. Police brought the situation under control and cleared the road for traffic, said Golam Rasul, the officer-in-charge (OC) of Biral police station. OC Golam said an unnatural death case was filed with the police station.
