Telangana logged 1,842 new COVID-19 cases, pushing the state’s tally to 1,06,091 the government said on Sunday. The total number of people who recovered from the infectious disease so far was 82,411 while 22,919 were under treatment. Nizamabad reported 148 cases, Nalgonda has 137, Rangareddy had 131, Karimnagar witnessed 120, Suryapet had 110 new cases and Jagityal and Khammam recorded 105 cases each. The case fatality rate stands at 0.71 per cent while the national average is 1.86 per cent.
