ShareTelecom Egypt is set to provide Google with a 3 mesh network solution. The agreement will cover several areas of TE’s redundant yet resilient network infrastructure in Egypt. In the agreement, Google will have some of the capacity on TE North – TE’s Mediterranean submarine cable. TE’s network easily reroutes traffic as required within less than 50 milliseconds while offering high-quality features on the SPLA portal. Hisham El Nazer, the Country Manager at Google Egypt described how the rapidly expanding internet penetration across Egypt enhances the capacity of transit traffic, enhancing the usage potential.
