Temperature set to increase to ‘Caution level’NewsThe meteorology department issuing a warm weather advisory for today that the temperature felt on human body is likely to increase up to ‘Caution level’ at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, North-western, Northern and North central provinces and in Monaragala district. Accordingly the department had requested general public to stay hydrated and take breaks in the shade as often as possible if they engage in work outside. They also called the general public to check up on the elderly and sick who stay indoors as heat could affect them. They also advised to not leave children unattended inside vehicles. Apart from that they advised to limit strenuous outdoor activities.
