Toronto can finally come out for air this weekend after a week of cold weather alerts and sudden snowfalls. But the sudden sunshine might not be welcome for some as it risks melting away our chance at a white Christmas. A white Christmas is defined by Environment Canada as having at least two centimetres of snow on the ground on Christmas morning with snow in the air sometime on Dec. 25. Both Monday and Tuesday are forecasted to have highs of 4C with sunny skies and some clouds gathering Tuesday night on Christmas Eve. Christmas Day will have a high of 2C and a 30 per cent chance of rain showers in the day and a -4C dip in the evening with a chance of flurries.
