Temperatures will drop to minus two degrees over the coming days with more cold weather forecast for this week. Fog will become dense again in many places with lowest temperatures of one to minus two degrees generally in a light easterly breeze becoming northeasterly later. Widespread fog in many areas overnight with patches of freezing fog. Highest temperatures will be between five and seven degrees by day and falling to near freezing again at night with the rain clearing through. It will remain quite cold with afternoon temperatures of seven to 10 degrees and overnight temperatures of between five and seven degrees.
