Kieran Carroll, one of the founding members of Temple Villa, will be guest of honour at Athlone Town's opening League of Ireland First Division fixture tonight. The club said that "no one deserves this honour more having given so much to our club since its inception". 'Kieran has been part of the club's committee since its foundation and together with TP Hickey, has had the most impact on Temple Villa over a long number of years. Temple Villa will also be represented at tonight's fixture by players from the club's U8, U9 and U11 squads who will act as mascots and ballboys for the occasion.
