Power is out in Temuka after a truck collided with a power pole. No one was injured when a truck hit a power pole in Temuka on Monday morning but the crash has caused power outages across the area. Fire and Emergency New Zealand was called to the incident at the intersection of Ewen Rd and State Highway 1 at 11.53am, a spokesperson said. They were working with the power company and helping control traffic, he said. Alpine Energy issued an outage warning for Temuka at 12.27pm.
