Tesco Clubcard warning after fraudsters crack voucher system to book cheap holidays

The supermarket giant was forced to suspend its deal with retail partner Hotels.com, after customers discovered their points had been wiped by scammers. The voucher offer was temporarily withdrawn and millions of loyal Tesco shoppers could have been deprived of their Clubcard rewards following the investigation that found vouchers were being sold on the black market. These points can then be exchanged for vouchers at retail partners such as Cineworld, Legoland or Hotels.com. Impacted Clubcard customers should have received replacement vouchers or had their points reimbursed. Working closely with our partners at Tesco we ensured that only legitimate Clubcard customers were able to obtain and redeem the codes they had earned.
