Sainsbury's and Marks and Spencer have also announced that they will be operating extending opening hours ahead of the big day. M&S has announced that in the lead up to Christmas it will be offering it’s longest ever store opening hours. The outlets with extended opening times include almost all of its food-only branches, along with some clothing and food stores. Primark stores opening for from 7am on Wednesday 2 December through until normal closing time on Thursday 3 December. It is thought that Lidl and Asda will provide details of revised opening times in the weeks before Christmas.
