More than 80 Texans in total make the magazine's latest list of the richest people on Earth, 42 of which come from North Texas. Forbes Magazine has put out its 2026 list of billionaires and Texas is well-represented, with a total of 88 throughout the state based here. In North Texas alone reside 42 members of the billionaire list, according to the Dallas Business Journal. Texas' richest stand among a record group of 3,428 billionaires, a bump of 400 more from 2025. North Texas' 42 billionaires have a combined wealth of $397.5 million, according to the DBJ's analysis of the Forbes data.
