SUTHERLAND SPRINGS, TEXAS—The gunman who killed 26 people at a small-town Texas church sent threatening text messages to his mother-in-law before the attack, which appeared to have been driven by domestic tensions, authorities said Monday. Devin Kelley, the suspect in the shooting at the First Baptist Church in Texas, was found dead in his vehicle a short time after the shooting. Speaking from Tokyo, President Donald Trump called the deadly church shooting in Texas Sunday "an act of evil."
