These actions violated the international humanitarian law and global norms that protect innocent citizens, army spokesman, Maj Gen Winthai Suvaree, said on Saturday. According to the Thai army, about 400,000 Thai citizens have been affected. The Royal Thai Army calls on Cambodia to immediately cease all acts of violence against innocent parties and comply with international law under humanitarian principles, Maj Gen Winthai said.
