(Photo: Wichan Charoenkiatpakul)The Thai embassy in Astana has advised against making a visit to Kazakhstan, which has decreed a period of 14-days house quarantine for people arriving from Thailand. The Kazakhstan government announced compulsory home quarantine for people arriving from Thailand and other countries with 10 or more novel coronavirus (Covid-19) infection cases. During quarantine medical personnel will check the people daily. Visitors from countries with fewer than 10 infection cases will monitored by local medical personnel for 24 days.
