The 1975 cancelled their gig in Australia last night after lead singer Matty Healy was hospitalised with a "serious sickness". The pop rock band had been due to play the Laneway Festival in Brisbane but Matty was told he was "too weak to play" after a medical examination. Taking to Twitter, they said they were "devastated" by the cancellation and hoped that Matty would be well enough to perform their gig in Sydney today.
