Senator Elizabeth Warren made big headlines earlier this week by proposing to eliminate up to $50,000 in student loan debt per person. But she's not the only one that has big ideas and proposals for student loan debt. Let's look at some of the big proposals and thoughts from the main contenders for 2020 when it comes to student loan debt. These two proposals are decent ideas, but they both don't do much to address the current student loan crisis. That would mean that 75% of Americans with student loan debt would have it totally cancelled, while 95% of Americans with student loan debt would receive some benefit.
