I have since deleted these words from my vocabulary and sales conversations within my organization. I’ve found one thing to be true in sales, negotiation and business: How we communicate is directly related to how we operate. I know leaders taking courses in sales, business, negotiation, finance, leadership – all of the above! “Probably” means you don’t know, and it sends a signal that you haven’t even thought about it. Delete these seven words from your vocabulary the next time you go for the sale, and notice what it does for your confidence level, your communication skills and your sales performance.
