The festival, overseen by ABFF Ventures LLC, has been running in person for the last 24 years. Global protests have forced several large brands and industries to look at their commitment to the black community and their treatment of black workers and consumers in the past. ABFF has already helped push for more black representation in film and this year, while online, will not be any different.
