On Tuesday, Semafor reported that an Atlantic journalist was kicked out of Crockett’s campaign event on Monday in Lubbock, Texas. But on Friday, Godfrey published the audio recording of the exchange between her and one of the event’s staffers. “I think she’s still upset about that story even though I think it was a pretty fair story,” Godfrey said. Earlier this month, Crockett’s campaign called the Capitol Police after CNN reporter Edward-Isaac Dovere tried to visit her campaign office, alleging he was trespassing.
