The Cavs currently have a record of 29-19 following Tuesday's 95-93 cliffhanger win against the New York Knicks. The Cavs are actually only one win behind conference leader Miami Heat (30-17) in a very tight race in the East. The lion's share of the kudos should go to head coach J.B. Bickerstaff for rebuilding a winning culture in Cleveland. Bickerstaff is the son of former NBA coach Bernie Bickerstaff, who is also in the Cavaliers organization as senior basketball adviser. Bickerstaff stepped in right away and his interim tag was replaced with the head coach title in March 2020.
