In an unusual move the Detroit Tigers held a press conference on Monday to announce that they were calling up a trio of top prospects in Casey Mize, Tarik Skubal and Isaac Paredes. However, the debuts of Mize, Skubal and Paredes left a lot of room for optimism in Tigertown. Tarik Skubal, the Detroit Tigers’ number 4 prospect per Baseball America’s midseason report was the first to debut on Tuesday. The Detroit Tigers showed fans a glimpse into the future this week and that has to be incredibly exciting for a fanbase who has been suspended in a state of perpetual rebuild for half a decade.
