The Health 202: WHO says asymptomatic people usually don't spread coronavirus. Experts doubt that.

Another study found no secondary transmission among 91 contacts of nine asymptomatic cases. But key experts in the United States say the WHO's conclusion presents some big problems. It's not that asymptomatic people don’t spread the virus — but that contact tracing is simply bad at detecting it, they argue. The correct interpretation is more likely that CONTACT TRACING is woefully inadequate at finding asymptomatic spread. And it may be there isn't a lot of asymptomatic spread but plenty of pre-symptomatic spread.
