Superstar scorer Patrick Kane had been injured for the final 21 games of the regular season with a broken clavicle. With momentum, he said, “you seem to have more energy and it’s easier to work harder.”Most Stanley Cup champions, however, don’t wait until the end of the season to get hot. And their road to the Stanley Cup must go through the defending Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins in the first round.
