If you're a millennial, especially a woman, there's a good chance American Girl was part of your childhood. Maybe you had your own doll(s) or spent hours playing with one at a friend's house. The updated dolls are smaller to give them a more contemporary look and storyline. Does it feel fine since the original dolls are still around? Or do you think this move takes away from what made American Girl special in the first place?
