The Turkish military has announced one soldier was killed in its cross-border operation on a Kurdish held enclave in northern Syria. The unnamed soldier is the first to be killed in the military offensive code-named Olive Branch, now ending its third day. Turkey is waging a major offensive against the Afrin enclave in northwestern Syria, which is controlled by U.S.-allied Kurdish forces.
