The Latest on the Sept. 17 bombings in New York and New Jersey, the investigation and the case against a New Jersey man (all times local):2:45 p.m.A New Jersey imam spoke against violence and in support of law enforcement during the first Friday prayer service since a local man was charged in the New Jersey and New York bombings. Mosque members say the father of suspect Ahmad Khan Rahami is an active member of the mosque and frequently prays there, including this week. Prosecutors say Ahmad Khan Rahami has not officially been arrested yet by federal authorities. Federal prosecutors opposed the request and say Rahami has been incapacitated at the hospital. Rahami faces federal charges for the bombs that exploded in New York City and a New Jersey seaside community and state charges after a shootout with police in New Jersey.
