Flooding in Nebraska has badly damaged up to 500 houses in one county alone. Another 100 or so homes are damaged elsewhere in the county. London says many of the damaged homes are likely ruined. The flooding Missouri River has damaged dozens of buildings at an Air Force base in Nebraska. Hundreds of people were evacuated from their homes in Nebraska and Iowa as levees succumbed to the rush of water.
