Then I met with the CEO and the COO for a very productive first interview. I heard back from the recruiter, who said that the CEO and COO were impressed with me and wanted to keep talking. I went back for a second interview where I met with the Director of Sales "Ralph" and the CEO in a two-hour meeting. The recruiter told me that Ralph, his CEO and his COO got a "stern talking-to" from their former bosses -- but so what? You are right to warn people not to give away too much information at a job interview.
