Leading 5-0 from the first leg in Lithuania, Saints were 3-0 up after 25 minutes through goals from Danny Redmond, Louis Robles and a Declan McManus header. Robles scored a second on 69 minutes before Danny Davies added a fifth five minutes later. Zalgiris were no match for Saints although Brazilian Michael Thuique capitalised on a defensive mistake to score a late consolation. Saints had all but sealed their place in the next round with with an impressive first leg win the previous week - the biggest European away win by a Cymru Premier side.
