I put out the word that I'm open to new opportunities, and so far I've heard from four recruiters. Three of them were great, but the last phone call really bothered me. That recruiter, "Joseph," didn't seem to appreciate my background at all. That conversation really shook my confidence, even though I had already had three great conversations with other recruiters over the past week. Why would a recruiter like Joseph reach out to me and then criticize my background once we're on the phone together?
