The turnout among RCN members employed on NHS Agenda for Change contracts in England was 61%. The government has described the RCN vote against accepting the pay offer as “hugely disappointing”. The consultation of 288,000 NHS workers across England closed at 3pm this afternoon. Unison will be urging the government to ensure NHS workers get the wage rises they’ve voted for at the earliest.
